The seven towers of the Fisherman's Bastion symbolize the seven Hungarian tribes that settled in the Carpathian Basin. Its neo-Romanesque arcades offer the most iconic postcard view of the Parliament and the Danube. The lower terraces are free to explore; it is highly recommended to visit early in the morning to enjoy the scenery before the tour buses arrive.
